CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — An updated agreement is in the works between Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department and the Padre Island Property Owners Association covering how Billish Park is maintained and used.
Back in 2017, the city and the POA signed a deal to transfer ownership of Billish Park to the city in exchange for financial support. However, the POA’s director said the deal was never completed. Today, he’s hoping for a new arrangement to better secure the park’s future.
