Four Yukon city parks are due to get new playgrounds this fiscal year as part of a multi-phase, city-wide plan.
The Yukon City Council, at its July 15th meeting, approved proposal specifications for the project’s first phase and agreed to have new playground equipment installed at these parks:
- Dickenson Park, 201 Poplar Avenue
- Welch Park, 615 Annawood Drive
- Taylor Park, 401 N 11th Street
- The Greenbelt, 257 Redbud Street
The City of Yukon owns 12 park properties, and these four do not have playground equipment in them.
