Strong winds uproot trees, tear roofs in Northridge as cleanup continues

NORTHRIDGE, Ohio (WKEF) — Northridge, just north of Springfield, was hit with an intense storm Saturday night.

Within about a minute, homeowners in the Northridge neighborhood said the storm came and went. One person even said by the time they got to their basement, the storm had passed and it was completely quiet outside. But it left behind a trail of debris that took hours to clean up.

“We couldn’t even get down the road. We had to end up going down the street here, then kind of jog up. But as of the house, everything was fine. It was just more like our fencing and stuff. Just really, our backyard just was kind of in shambles,” said Joel Frost, a Northridge homeowner…
