Shots fired after argument at Happy Mexican in Cordova: MPD

Cordova, Tenn. — Shots were fired in the parking lot of a Cordova Mexican restaurant late Sunday night after an argument inside the business, police say.

Officers say they responded to the Happy Mexican location along North Germantown Parkway after 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

A security guard told police that he broke up a fight between two woman and two men in the restaurant and pushed them outside. That is when he says he saw one of the men involved in the argument pull out a gun and fire shots at the person he was arguing with.
