wbff- fox Baltimore — The Baltimore Police Department has initiated a second criminal investigation into overdoses in the Penn North neighborhood after seven more individuals showed signs of overdose on Friday. This incident occurred at the same location as a previous mass overdose earlier this month, which resulted in at least 27 people being hospitalized.
Investigators are currently working to determine the substances involved in the drugs and whether the two overdose events are connected.
