New Orleans Police are looking for clues after gunfire overnight near Esplanade and Decatur. It happened at the Checkpoint Charlie bar.
“The NOPD is investigating a AGGRAVATED BATTERY BY SHOOTING in the 500 Blk of Esplanade ave.,” Public Information Officer James Roberson said in an email. “Initial reports show at least one black male victim with at least one gunshot wound to the body.”
