Six members of a Tulsa family are getting help from the American Red Cross after a fire damaged their home late Sunday night.
Fire officials say the blaze broke out just before midnight near 49th Street North and Peoria Avenue. Everyone inside made it out safely.
What Happened Sunday Night?
Tulsa Fire Department responded to the home around 11:45 p.m. Firefighters say a man, his adult daughter, and her four children were inside at the time.
According to investigators, the fire may have been started by a child playing with a lighter. The exact cause is still under review.
Everyone Escaped Safely
Firefighters confirmed that all six people inside were able to get out of the house. One person was checked for smoke inhalation at the scene but did not need to be taken to the hospital…
