Aftershocks advance to round 16 of the TBT

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The AfterShocks advanced to the final 16 of the 61-team tournament for a fourth time in six TBT appearances. They last advanced to the final eight in 2023. The AfterShocks improved to 14-5 in TBT.

Nike Sibande and Leyton Hammonds came off the bench to lead the offense with three-point shooting. Sibande, who finished his college career at Pittsburgh, made 5 of 6 threes. Hammonds, from Oklahoma State, made 4 of 7.

The AfterShocks hit 13 of 37 threes (35.1 percent) and outscored Challenge ALS by 13 points at the foul line. Markis McDuffie grabbed five offensive rebounds to help the AfterShocks to a 15-4 edge in that category…
