A rather adorable wildlife rescue unfolded in recent days, involving a baby raccoon who got stuck somewhere it shouldn’t have been.
According to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, Animal Services Officer Wylde was called to the scene to rescue a baby raccoon that got stuck in the engine compartment of a semi-truck.
When Officer Wylde arrived, the nocturnal animal was fast asleep and it “wasn’t exactly happy about being woken up” as she attempted to get it to grab onto a catch pull so she could pull it to safety…
