LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Agencies across multiple counties collaborated on a large-scale operation in response to an event called “Black Boat Weekend” near Dog Island on Lake Norman.
The event drew a lot of on-water attendance, which prompted a proactive public safety initiative from law enforcement.
