CHARLESTON, SC. (WCSC) – The risk of significant heat and humidity will finally begin to dwindle this week as scattered downpours fill in across the Lowcountry!
Lingering showers from Monday’s round of thunderstorms continue to dissipate tonight, giving way to patchy clouds and very warm temperatures. Tuesday morning’s lows should return to the mid to upper 70s, except warmer near the coast.
Rain chances beginning Tuesday will be governed by our daily sea breeze and assistance from a weak front to our north. On Tuesday, a few showers are expected to form around lunchtime. Activity looks to become more widespread – and a little more intense – throughout the afternoon and evening…
