DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Are you a benefit recipient of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program? You could be shopping small while getting healthy, local food.
Farmers markets in six Miami Valley counties are accepting EBT, SNAP or Ohio Direction Card. It is reported that individuals can usually purchase tokens at the farmers’ markets for items with the benefits.

Clark County
- New Carlisle Farmers’ Market – 113 Jefferson St., New Carlisle.
- Springfield Farmers’ Market – 117 S Fountain Ave., Springfield.
Logan County
- Indian Lake Farmers’ Market – East Main Street & North Orchard Island Road, Russells Point.
- Logan County Farmers’ Market – Chillicothe Avenue & Detroit Street, Bellefontaine.
Miami County
- Piqua Community Farmers’ Market – 116 West High Street, Piqua.
- Cherry Street Local Farmers’ Market – South Cherry Street, Troy.
Montgomery County
- 2nd Street Market – 600 East 2nd St., Dayton.
