Woman charged for $7,700 Chesterfield outlet mall theft

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A Ferguson woman is charged after she and two cohorts stole several thousands of dollars’ worth of clothes from an outlet mall in Chesterfield and led police on a high-speed chase.

According to the Chesterfield Police Department’s probable cause statement, the theft happened on July 10 at the True Religion store in the St. Louis Premium Outlets.

Store employees reported three people stole clothing valued at more than $7,700. Police reviewed surveillance footage from inside and outside the store and saw the trio leave in a 2017 Ford Fusion with a ripped Illinois temp tag…
