City of Spokane will vote to pay nearly $4 million to estate of man shot by police

SPOKANE, Wash – The City of Spokane is poised to pay nearly $4,000,000 to the estate of a man shot by police in 2022.

A lawsuit was filed in federal court by the estate of Robert Bradley, saying Bradley was ambushed at his home in Hillyard and that officers didn’t clearly identify themselves and give Bradley time to respond.

Police had previously argued that Bradley pointed a gun at them when they were at his home to confiscate his weapons and that’s why they opened fire…
