A local nature center is educating families about area fish.
Asbury Woods, along with its partners, is hosting Fish Field Day on Saturday, August 2 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Water rescue training: Lake City Fire Department trains for water response
According to the Asbury Woods website, attendees can take part in “Trout in the Classroom,” where they can look at trout before they are released into area waters.
There will be a lot to do at Fish Field Day. Groups like the Northwest Pennsylvania Chapter of Trout Unlimited, the Pennsylvania Sea Grant and the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission will have activities and demonstrations for visitors.
