Suspect in 2024 Wyoming gas station shooting pleads no contest

WYOMING, Mich. — Niko Rey Mena pleaded no contest on Monday for the 2024 shooting of a Wyoming gas station employee. At the time of the shooting, Mena was 20 years old.

According to police, the shooting happened around 5:40 p.m. on March 6 at the Admiral gas station on 32nd Street SW and Division Avenue S.

Responding officers found a 36-year-old Grand Rapids man, Willis Booker, who police said works at the gas station, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds…
