PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Officials in Delaware County are warning the public about a contractor they said has stolen thousands of dollars from his clients.
George Cook, 44, of Holmes, a home improvement contractor who operates under the business name GC’s Contracting, is accused of ripping off his clients.
Darby Borough Police Chief Joseph Gabe said this is an ongoing theme for Cook, who not only has priors for these types of scams, but several open cases in the county, one of the most recent being charges of theft and receiving stolen property.
