CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – From mid-July to September, you can pick peaches at local orchards throughout western Massachusetts.

Mass.gov states that peaches and nectarines are actually the same species, with only some small differences, such as how peaches have fuzzy skin, while nectarines have smooth skin.
