Arkansas mass shooter Travis Posey pleads guilty, avoids death penalty in plea deal

FORDYCE, Ark. (KATV) — A man once at the center of one of Arkansas’s deadliest mass shootings is now admitting to it all.

In a courtroom inside the Ouachita County Detention Center, 45-year-old Travis Eugene Posey of New Edinburg pleaded guilty Monday to a total of 15 charges, including four counts of capital murder and 11 counts of attempted capital murder.
