There will be a “Fireworks Buyback Event” at the Aloha Stadium lower parking lot, July 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“Really what we want everyone to do is really take a look at what happened with the fires we’ve been having, and really taking a look at Aliamanu and say ‘do I want that for my family,’” said Mike Lambert, Department of Law Enforcement Director: “I think for everyone, the answers gonna be no.”
