‘It will save lives.’ Oahu to get medevac chopper for critical patients

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Oahu will soon have an air ambulance chopper to take critically ill patients to hospitals at a fraction of the time it would take a ground ambulance.

American Medical Response will add the H130 single-engine aircraft to its fleet later this year.

Distance and traffic are major obstacles to get patients to a hospital, especially during rush hour…
