Baltimore Symphony Orchestra to perform with Grammy winner Nas

BALTIMORE, Md. (DC News Now) — The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra is performing with renowned Hip-Hop artist and Grammy winner, Nas. For the first time in its 109-year history, the Orchestra will perform alongside a nationally recognized rap artist.

According to the Orchestra’s communications director Whitney Clemons Brown, the Wednesday night show sold out within 48 hours of its announcement. The concert will feature full orchestral arrangements from Nas’ Illmatic in honor of its three-decade mark.
