Eleven restaurants in Duval County faced temporary closures during July 2025 after failing state health inspections. The Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation conducted 347 inspections across the county over 21 days. State records show 155 establishments failed their initial visits, while 192 passed on the first attempt.

Highlighted Duval County Restaurant Violation Closures

Terra Nossa Brazilian Grill led the closure list with 17 violations, including eight high-priority infractions. Located at 10300 Southside Blvd, Unit 3120 in Jacksonville, the restaurant was shut down on July 5. Inspectors returned the next day for a callback review, but six issues remained unresolved. A second follow-up inspection on July 10 found only two violations, yet the establishment still awaits a third review before reopening.
