U of M student to raise siblings after parents killed years apart

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A GoFundMe has been set up to help a University of Memphis student take care of his two young siblings after their mother was killed in a one-vehicle accident two weeks ago in Whitehaven.

Family members said Danielle Beauregard was on her way home when she left the roadway and crashed into a pole along Elvis Presley Boulevard.

Christian Dennis, 22, and his 10-year-old sister and 6-year-old brother lost their father five years ago in a deadly shooting in South Memphis. Dennis said there was no question he was keeping the family together.
