2 arrested after shots fired at Tom Lee Park, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two men were arrested, and another was issued a citation after Memphis Police say shots were fired at Tom Lee Park late Monday night.

Around 10:32 p.m., officers say they responded to Tom Lee Park at 357 Riverside Drive regarding a shots-fired call. A man with no shirt on and green shorts was accused of firing shots at people inside the park.

Police say that when they arrived, several witnesses told them the man was shooting at people near the basketball court. That is when officers say they heard two shots fired inside the park…
