MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – UPDATE: The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office confirms that on July 12th, 2025, Deputy Miles White was arrested by Murfreesboro Police Department, on charges including Public Intoxication, Resist Stop, Frisk, Halt, Arrest or Search, and two counts of Assault on a First Responder. The 32-year-old was arrested at about 9PM on the night of the 12th.
Deputy White was off duty at the time of the incident. Upon notification of the arrest, information was gathered, and Deputy White was terminated from his employment with the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office. WGNS has since confirmed he is scheduled for a hearing in general sessions court on September 9, 2025.
The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office reports on their social media page that they hold all of their employees to the highest professional and ethical standards.
