APD: Bicyclist killed in northeast Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A 19-year-old woman died Tuesday afternoon after a crash involving her bicycle and a car in northeast Albuquerque.

The crash happened Tuesday at around 2 p.m. on Carlisle Boulevard at Delamar Avenue, just south of Montgomery Boulevard.

According to police, a black Ford Fiesta was traveling southbound on Carlisle and hit the bicyclist as she tried crossing the road. The driver immediately stopped and stayed on scene to talk to police…
