COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Columbus Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the man who robbed a Family Dollar located in the 1400 block of Oakland Park Ave. in Linden.
According to a police report, the assistant manager of the store recognized the man as a repeat shoplifter and asked him to leave the store. The suspect refused to leave and the assistant manager yelled for the store manager to call police.
The assistant manager told police that the suspect reached for his waist implying he had a weapon and stated “I’ll pop you.”
The suspect left the store without paying for a mop he had in his hand…
