Columbus mother sues Kia two years after her 4-year-old was hit and killed by stolen car

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A Columbus mother is suing Kia after her 4-year-old son was hit and killed by a driver in a stolen car in 2023.

The mother’s attorney, Sam Shamansky, said Kia is at fault for Yonis Said’s death.

“You have a product, you know that all the Kia boys can’t wait to swipe it, and you do nothing to correct it,” said Shamansky. “Why? Because it’s going to cost you a few extra dollars. It’s a sickening corporate decision which has cost numerous lives across the country and which took the life of a four-year-old.”…
