Grattan Raceway, a 190-acre motorsports property in West Michigan with a 65-year legacy, is on the market for $15 million as its owners seek a buyer who can modernize the site and unlock new revenue streams.
Over more than six decades, the iconic 2-mile racecourse in the rolling landscape of rural eastern Kent County has hosted countless events and generations of professional and amateur car and motorcycle racers pushing for the perfect lap along its twisting turns and 3,200-foot-long straightaway.
Famed actor and racer Paul Newman drove at Grattan Raceway, as did race car drivers Paul Tracy and Roberto Guerrero, both of whom competed in the IndyCar series years ago and tested their race cars at the facility.
