A local developer plans to tear down a shuttered Family Fare grocery store building to construct a 168-unit apartment development called Breton Meadows in its place on Grand Rapids’ southeast side.
The Grand Rapids Brownfield Redevelopment Authority Board approved a $14.9 million brownfield plan Wednesday morning, which includes housing tax increment financing incentives, for the project at 4325 Breton Ave. SE.
