SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Three men from Syracuse have pleaded guilty after being charged with selling and possessing firearms.
The three men involved were 30-year-old Erik Burch, 30-year-old Khalid Richardson and 33-year-old Lamar Stanford. Burch pleaded guilty during the week of July 14, to the unlawful sale of a firearm to a prohibited person; Richardson pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a prohibited person on June 4, and Stanford pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a prohibited person on April 30.
Richardson admitted that he sold firearms to someone he knew to be a felon on four separate occasions in 2022. He also admitted that he possessed firearms on two of those occasions from his co-defendants, Stanford and Burch. Stanford and Burch each admitted to possessing firearms on the dates of the firearm sales that they engaged in with Richardson.
