Syracuse men plead guilty to firearm sales and possession

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Three men from Syracuse have pleaded guilty after being charged with selling and possessing firearms.

The three men involved were 30-year-old Erik Burch, 30-year-old Khalid Richardson and 33-year-old Lamar Stanford. Burch pleaded guilty during the week of July 14, to the unlawful sale of a firearm to a prohibited person; Richardson pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a prohibited person on June 4, and Stanford pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a prohibited person on April 30.

Richardson admitted that he sold firearms to someone he knew to be a felon on four separate occasions in 2022. He also admitted that he possessed firearms on two of those occasions from his co-defendants, Stanford and Burch. Stanford and Burch each admitted to possessing firearms on the dates of the firearm sales that they engaged in with Richardson. Stanford and Burch were each prohibited from possessing firearms based on prior felony convictions…
