WILMINGTON, DE — A Wilmington man is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges after a brief police pursuit on Friday led to the discovery of a loaded firearm and illegal drugs, according to the Wilmington Police Department.
Authorities say members of the Safe Streets Task Force were patrolling the 100 block of South Franklin Street at approximately 11:05 a.m. on July 18, 2025, when they observed an individual operating a motorized scooter in violation of traffic laws. Officers attempted to make contact, but the subject fled on foot.
Shortly thereafter, officers located the suspect—identified as 30-year-old Jacquez Robinson—in the 200 block of South Franklin Street. He was taken into custody without further incident.
