DES MOINES, Iowa — After more than a month of restrictions, central Iowans are now able to start watering their lawns, with some rules in place.
Last week, Central Iowa Water Works announced its first-ever lawn watering ban would be gradually lifted in stages beginning Tuesday, July 22.
“I am incredibly proud of communities that have united during this water event so we can now take steps toward restoring normal service,” CIWW Executive Director Tami Madsen said in a statement.
