Eugene interagency speed saturation patrol results in 184 traffic stops

EUGENE, Ore. — On July 16, 2025, the Eugene Police Traffic Safety Unit coordinated an Interagency Speed Saturation Patrol in the Eugene metro area.

EPD Traffic Safety Unit officers, EPD Patrol officers, Springfield Police Traffic Unit officers, Oregon State Police troopers, Lane County Sheriff’s Office deputies, and Junction City Police Department officers all had focused patrol for speed enforcement.

The teams were allocated for Beltline Road, Interstate 105 / Highway 126, Interstate 5, Delta Highway, Highway 99, and ancillary roads to address the driving behavior that creates highest volume of complaints and frustration for other motorists. This includes speeding…
