Nine agencies contain 30-acre brush fire sparked by mowing near Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, Ore. (KATU) — A brush fire erupted approximately six miles south of Brownsville on Wednesday near the intersection of Gap Road and Belts Drive.

Firefighters were dispatched at 12:26 p.m. on July 23 and arrived to find the blaze in a field advancing toward timber.
