WASHINGTON, D.C. (7News) — There’s a homicide investigation underway in Southeast D.C. after human remains were found inside a residence on Sunday.
Officers with the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) were dispatched to the residence in the 4600 block of B Street, Southeast, on July 20 to conduct a welfare check. When they arrived, they discovered the human remains.
The remains were taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where an autopsy confirmed the manner of death to be a homicide. MPD also identified the person as Charles Granger, 65…
