The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is rolling out a Law Enforcement Training Event that’s going to be tweaking your usual routes. As announced on their social media post, the training will prompt road closures around the school, so it’s best to gear up for some mild inconvenience and support the security operations.
The sheriff’s office detailed which streets are getting the coned-off treatment: Arcturas Avenue will see limited access from the early hours at 6:00 AM, then brace for a full road closure at 8:30 AM, S. Hercules Avenue is having its southern half up to Druid Road shut down at the same early hour, and Druid Road—between S. Hercules Avenue and Willowbranch Avenue—is also getting the barrier treatment at 8:30 AM, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, these moves are part of a necessary drill to prepare for the realities of law enforcement duties, despite the expected pushback from disrupted motorists and local businesses left to contend with the logistical puzzle.
