Orlando Fugitive Caught With Cocaine After Polk County Traffic Stop

Deputies Nab Man on Long-Standing Warrants, Discover Drugs

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – An Orlando man sought on multiple Polk County warrants, including burglary across county lines, was arrested Wednesday evening after deputies spotted his vehicle in Loughman. Elias Salgado Soto, 45, was taken into custody without incident and now faces additional charges of cocaine possession.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), Soto had active warrants for Burglary Across County Lines, Possession of Burglary Tools, Grand Theft, and Tampering with Evidence.

At approximately 8:22 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23rd, PCSO deputies observed Soto’s silver Ford F-150 in the vicinity of US 17/92 and Ronald Reagan Parkway in Loughman. Deputies initiated a traffic stop, leading to Soto’s arrest…
