NEW CASTLE, DE — Two individuals are facing multiple felony charges after New Castle County Police recovered a loaded Glock handgun equipped with a high-capacity magazine and a fully automatic switch during a traffic stop near the I-495 on-ramp, authorities announced Tuesday.
According to the New Castle County Division of Police, the incident occurred on July 22, 2025, at approximately 3:40 p.m., when detectives assigned to the department’s Active Crime Trend Team conducted a proactive patrol in the Route 9 corridor. A black Nissan Altima was stopped on Terminal Avenue for a traffic violation.
Police say the vehicle was operated by 20-year-old Dasir Williams-Little of Wilmington, with 20-year-old Ollayah Blyden of New Castle in the passenger seat.
