SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Utah Transit Authority TRAX lines experienced significant delays after a train on the Blue Line struck a truck near 800 South and 200 West in Salt Lake City.
UTA spokesperson Gavin Gustafson told ABC4 that around 6:45 a.m. on July 24, the truck had run a red light at the intersection and was struck by the train. The truck was reportedly knocked off its wheels by the collision.
The driver, who was the lone occupant of the truck, suffered only minor injuries and was treated and released on the scene. There were no injuries reported from the train…
