Eugene Police: Nevada home invasion suspect arrested with license plate reader assistance

EUGENE, Ore. — Around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, Eugene Police responded to the 3000 block of N. Delta Highway to help detectives take a wanted subject, 49-year-old Kristi Lee Loewe, into custody.

Police say Loewe was wanted out of Humboldt County, Nevada, for Failure to Appear on Home Invasion charges from an incident in Winnemucca.

The vehicle Loewe was driving was flagged by EPD’s License Plate Reader system near Crescent Avenue in Eugene because the registered owner had a felony-level warrant in NCIC (National Criminal Information Center)…
