A Connecticut executive who police say stabbed two friends during an outing at a Massachusetts campground had consumed cannabis-infused gummy bears before the incident and suffered an “acute psychological reaction,” his attorney said Wednesday.
Jeffrey DeLuca, 47, of Wilton, was arrested Friday night after police in Lanesborough, Mass., say he stabbed two companions at a Mount Greylock Campsite. One was stabbed in the chest and the other in the torso, in an unprovoked attack in front of their young children, police said.
