Baltimore City, MD — As the state struggles to balance its budget, in a new interview Governor Wes Moore is once again challenging claims his predecessor, former Governor Larry Hogan, left him with a staggering $5 billion dollar surplus.
“That’s been debunked over and over,” Moore told FOX’s ‘Special Report’ anchor Bret Baier, “We actually turned a structural deficit, which has been predicted since 2017 and was not addressed by the previous government, and turned a structural deficit now into a surplus.”
