Man gets 40 years to life in Clifton Street shooting that killed 1, paralyzed another

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man was sentenced Thursday after being found guilty of murder and attempted murder in connection with a 2023 gang-related shooting that killed one man and paralyzed another.

Darius Key, 42, was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison, according to court records. He was convicted earlier this year.
