Brundage Lane Navigation Center celebrates 501 guests in permanent housing

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The City of Bakersfield celebrated completing a major milestone in helping people who previously had been living on the streets find a permanent home.

Officials announced the Brundage Lane Navigation Center placed its 500th and 501st guests into permanent housing over the weekend.

‘First Steps’ with ‘Four’ franchise simply ‘Fantastic’

In total, 501 people have been placed in permanent homes since the 150-bed emergency shelter opened back in 2020.
