4 dogs rescued from townhome fire in Mt. Pleasant neighborhood, no other injuries reported

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) — 4 dogs were rescued after a house fire broke out in the kitchen of a townhouse in Mount Pleasant’s Heritage Village neighborhood Wednesday afternoon, where 4 dogs were rescued, according to the Mount Pleasant Fire Department.

At least two units were affected in the blaze and no injuries were reported. Three dogs were saved from one unit, while a fourth was rescued from a neighboring one, according to firefighters. “Several” of the dogs were transported to an emergency vet for further care, according to MPFD, but no other injuries were reported…
