GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro man says he spent months dealing with mail delays after moving into an apartment where his mailbox was broken, leaving him running after delivery drivers and worried about missing bills.
Jason Brown said the problem began the day he moved in. His unit’s mailbox lock didn’t work, making it nearly impossible to retrieve mail reliably. As a result, he missed important letters, including bills that could have affected his credit.
“It would suck — it was miserable — because we have bills in the mail coming to the house,” Brown said. “It was stressful.”…
