Mom relieved after clinic says her son will still be treated despite cost after being hit by car

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A Knoxville mother is resting easier thanks to a clinic that’s going to help her injured son despite them being unable to afford his surgery.

Christina Carson said a car hit her son, Randy, in Morristown on July 9. He doesn’t have insurance and is unable to work. According to the police report, the 29-year-old was walking against a green light in Morristown and a car approaching the intersection hit him.
