A new restaurant – Pollo Tropiko – is opening in Moneta in the next couple weeks that features fresh, no-fried dishes along with California-style charcoal chicken.
“Our specialty is marinated, slow-cooked charcoal chicken that uses 13 ingredients,” said Pollo Tropiko owner Edfrain Aguirre. “The secret is in our spices that come from California. No fried foods, and we will serve fresh guacamole, pico, a salsa bar with red sauces, mango sauces, tomatillo sauces, and chiltomatoe, our specialty sauce.”
Items on the Pollo Tropiko menu include a selection of tacos, fajitas, quesadillas, California burritos, rice bowls served with a variety of meats, salads and entrees, as well as combos and family meals. A kids menu and selection of sides will also be available…
